Bahamas tours

If you want to try a unique tour of the Bahamas, you should defiantly consider a Segway tour. You will really enjoy the scenery as your Segway cruises the island

There are many types of tours in the Bahamas; however, you should consider a Segway tour because it is unique and fun. Riding a Segway while touring the Bahamas is awesome because you get to feel and smell the fresh clean air. If you never rode one, do not worry, the tour guide will teach you everything you need to know before the tour begins.

The Segway tour starts at the Cricket Club; after you pay for your spot, the tour guide will show you the basic ways to drive the machine. Keep in mind that this tour only has limited Segways available for touring; there are fewer than seven, so book your tour a few weeks in advance. You will not have trouble any driving around because the Segway is easy to use; many kids and adults get the hang of it quite quickly. Just to be safe, the tour guide give everyone safely gear to wear during the tour; every tourist gets a helmet, elbow pads and kneepads. Once training is over, the actual tour starts, and everyone gets a chance to sightsee, take photos, and learn as well.

The first sight you will see is the Botanic Garden, it has over 500 types of flowers, and it is beautiful to see. Anyone who loves flowers or plants will be amazed when the tour passes by this area, so have your camera ready. The garden cannot be visited due to the effects of a hurricane, which landed on the island a long time ago; however, by taking the tour, you are helping with the damages.

The way the tour helps is simple, a small amount of everyone’s touring cost is donated to help workers rebuild the damaged areas of the garden, so taking this tour is actually a great idea. If you plan to take this tour with your friends or family, find out if anyone has allergies, because if someone does, the 500 plus flowers may cause problems

After passing by the garden, the tour guide will lead everyone to a historic place called Fort Charlotte. The tour stops here for a moment and everyone has to get off his or her Segway and then walk inside the building. The guide will quickly talk about the surrounds, and afterward, everyone gets to continue the tour outdoors. After exiting the building, the tour continues near the historic building, and everybody gets to explore the nearby passageways, which is another chance to take some photos.

After the historic building tour, the tour guide takes a break and stops at the local craft market. You really do not have to get off your Segway here; however, you should not miss the opportunity to buy a souvenir. Remember to bring some extra cash for shopping when the tour stops at the craft market, because you might find something worth buying.

Once the tour is over, everyone returns to the Cricket Club to enjoy some drinks and talk about the tour. Take this time to make some friends, because they may know about other unique tours that you can try.

A Segway tour is a very different type of tour; if you try it, you will definitely have a great time.
