The Bahamas - Using a Glass Bottomed Boat

If you cannot swim, you are missing great chances to see some cool underwater animals. Renting a glass bottomed boat in the Bahamas is an excellent way to see animals underwater without being in the water

Everyone has fun in the water while in the Bahamas, and the most exciting activities are snorkeling and scuba driving. Although these activities are great, some people cannot swim, so they are really missing out. Using a glass-bottomed boat is an excellent way to see everything anyone else does while snorkeling or scuba diving in the Bahamas.

Using a glass-bottomed boat is quicker and easier than scuba diving or snorkeling in the ocean. When someone wants to go snorkeling, that person has to be certified; otherwise, he or she will have a tough time swimming underwater.

Snorkeling is a bit simpler, tourists do not need any advanced training, but if they plan to swim in the ocean, there is a chance that they may be stung by an underwater animal. glass-bottomed boats are awesome because all you have to do is find a rental place and paddle out into the ocean.

Using a glass-bottomed boat in the Bahamas is not 100% great, some people may have two problems while using one, but they can easily be solved. Before you can start viewing fish, turtles, and other objects underwater, you have to paddle a little. If you are traveling alone, you will move somewhat slowly in the water, and you will get tired quickly if you try to speed up by paddling faster.

The best way to get to the middle of the ocean as quickly as possible is to take two friends with you. You may need a larger boat, but if you have other people helping you, you will get to the best spots quicker without any problems. The other problem deals with the boat itself, when you are in it, the boat will move from side to side, so if you have a weak stomach, you might get seasick. If you never been on a row boat before, you will not know how you will react, so instead on taking a chance, go prepared, and take a seasick patch with you just in case.

Once you reach a good spot, you will see many kinds of objects and animals, but if you want to see everything as clear as possible, you need to check the boat’s window before you leave the shore. Some places let their boats sit so long that algae gathers on the boat’s bottom window, so always check it out before you leave the dock. With a clean window, you will have no problems seeing fish, ships, barracudas and even huge sharks.

Sharks do not show up all the time; however, you should not panic if you see one, just allow it to pass by and then continue your boat ride. Do not try to take a picture of a shark if you see one, you never know how it will react to a flash, but other smaller animals are ok. You need a camera with a good zoom if you want to take pictures of sunken ships at the bottom of the ocean.

A glass-bottomed boat is a great alternate for people who cannot swim in the Bahamas. If you decide to use this boat, bring a few friends, a seasick patch, and a digital camera so you can get some cool underwater photos

Easy access to The Bahamas is one reason for its long-standing popularity as a winter holiday destination. Only a few miles from the south Florida coast, in fact closer than Caribbean destinations, the islands can be reached quickly either by air or by sea.

The Bahama Islands temperatures rarely drop below 60 degrees F, or rise above 90 degrees F. Most of the rain fall occurs in the summer months. The sea temperature ranges from the low 80's in the summer to about 74 degrees F in the winter
