Most people stay at their hotel and wait until the rain stops, but this can get boring quite quickly. Watching movies indoors is fun, but it is not exciting. If you want to try an exciting activities as it rains, you should consider taking your family snorkeling. Keep in mind that you must only try this when there is no thunder or lighting in the sky. If you are 100% sure that it is only raining, you can walk to a nearby ocean to start snorkeling. Snorkeling in the rain is fun, and hardy no one else will be on the beach except your family. If you do not want to go swimming in the ocean, you can use a hotel pool instead. If your hotel has an outdoor swimming pool with accessories, your family can play some team sports. You and your family can try sports such as volleyball and basketball, or everyone can just enjoy swimming in the empty pool. You might want to ask a staff member if it is ok before you jump into the pool just to be sure. If other guests see your family swimming, they might join you and your family as well. |

Your family can also learn a lot during a
rain day by visiting the Pirates Museum, National Art Gallery of the Bahamas, or
the Atlantis scrapbook class. The pirate's museum is probably the best activity
for kids because it features pirate figures. Grownups will enjoy the museum too
because each figure talks about interesting pirate facts. The National Art
Gallery and the scrapbook class are 100% meant for grownups; kids will not enjoy
themselves at either of these places. At the art gallery, you can see different
kinds of pieces on display with a tour guide. The scrapbook class, however, is
for moms who would like to learn advance and basic scrapbook techniques.
