The simplest way to keep your money safe is to buy a small waterproof pouch from a Bahamas sports store. You can put your cash and your room key into the pouch and then go swimming with it. Your items will stay dry, and you will be happy knowing that your stuff is safe. If you prefer to leave you items at the hotel, you can just ask the staff to charge the lunch to the room bill. Atlantis Water Park in the Bahamas is a cool place for kids, but they have to have the right gear to be safe. Water shoes will keep your kids stable while running and goggle will keep their contacts protected.
