The Pirate Museum is a family attraction in the Bahamas; you should check it out during your vacation. Everyone will enjoy this museum, and afterwards, everybody can visit the gift shop next door.

The museum has many pirate objects in it, including a ship, which everyone must walk through during the tour. Your family will have a great time on the ship, because the attractions are never boring. The fun really starts when everyone reaches the pirate mannequins that demonstrate pirate life. These mannequins are nothing like the kinds you see at shopping stores; these mannequins move and act out scenes with are quite entertaining. Each pirate also has props to use during the scenes such as swords and daggers, so the shows are quite fun to watch when they fight each other. This museum is not only about action, because there are also pirates that talk about what they did during pirate days, which is educational. The pirates will give everyone information about how they lived, famous ship battles, how the battles were fought, and who won the fight.

After the shows are over, everyone gets to view some of the old weapons and jewellery on display at the end of the tour. Each item has interesting detail, and everyone gets to see each one up close; you kids will probably want to pick up the swords, but it is not allowed. Your kids do not have to be sad, because right next door to the museum is a gift shop, and you might find something fun for your kids there.

Before you go to the gift shop, make sure you stop by the Bahamas tourist booth because you will find some great coupons that you can use. The gift shop has items for everyone, so do not forget about your family back home, because they might want something from the Bahamas too.
