Mosquitoes, however, can ruin an entire vacation; you have to have the proper bug spray to deal with them. If you go to a place that has plenty of them, you will have a tough time taking naps, eating outdoors, or even enjoying time on the beach. When your vacation in the Bahamas is over, you will want to return home with bump free skin not mosquitoes bitten skin. If you are going to travel to the Bahamas, you must properly prepare yourself in case you encounter mosquitoes during your vacation. In the Bahamas, mosquitoes are sometimes a minor problem or a major problem. The amount of frustration that the mosquitoes will cause you depends on the island you choose. Most of the islands have many mosquitoes during mosquito season; there are two products that can reduce there numbers. Raid and Off bug sprays are great products; both sprays will the keep mosquitoes away. Although Raid kills the mosquitoes faster, Off is a little better because you get to spray it on you. When you use Off, you will have a protective shield on your skin that kills the mosquitoes when they land on you. Raid, however, only kills the mosquitoes within the range of the spray's mist. If you miss one, that mosquito will continue to bug you until you get it with the spray. Some tourists like to spray the raid on the patio door while staying in their condominium, but you should not. They do this because the mosquitoes are sometimes so bad that they fly through the screen. |

The issue is that people forget that they
sprayed the screen, and then someone touches the screen later. Touching the
poisonous screen is not healthily, and your condominium will get unclean air
instead of clean air from the outdoors. When hundreds of mosquitoes start flying
around a screen door, it is best to use some sort of Off product like an outdoor
lamp. Although mosquitoes are bad in certain areas in the Bahamas, you can avoid
most of them by visiting during a certain month.
The best month to visit the Bahamas if you want to enjoy yourself without many mosquitoes is March. During March, the wind blows quit frequently, which keeps mosquitoes away from you. You should still pack bug spray; however, you will not have to worry about tons of them flying around your condominium's patio area. There will be a few near your screen, but the wind will blow them away before they get the chance to bug you. Although the wind helps, you still should always open your door fast and close it faster. Closing your door quickly will keep the mosquitoes out your condominium; it is not fun trying to go to bed when a mosquito is buzzing around your ear. Visiting a place in the Bahamas that has mosquitoes can reduce the fun of your trip. Packing plenty of bug spray helps; however, March is one of the best times to avoid mosquitoes completely.
