Bahamas - Grand Isle Villa - Relaxing Family Fun

The Grand Isle Villa is a quiet place, and you will not find many day and night activities nearby. The rooms at this villa, however, are huge, and you will enjoy the local spa and the golf course.

Many families visit the Bahamas and usually stay at hotels; however, villas give guests many more options. The Grand Isle Villa, for example, is a fantastic place for families with kids because the rooms are very spacey. Having plenty of space is essential for children; however, it is not the main reason why you should choose this particular villa. The location, the local restaurants, and the nearby activities are the key reasons why tourists prefer staying at The Grand Isle Villa.

When you walk into one of the villas, the first thing you will notice is how huge the rooms are. Young kids will love the extra amount of space because it gives them plenty of room to play without breaking anything. You, however, will appreciate the washer/dryer a lot because they will really come in handy. On the days when you decide to let your kids play at the beach, you can save cash by washing their clothes at your villa. Speaking of outdoor fun, the beach is one of the few spots near the villas where your children can go to have a good time. Although the villa's pool is nice, your kids will get bored after swimming in it a couple of days.

Your children will love playing in The Grand Isle Villas swimming pool on the first day, but the fun will not last long. Even though the pool is amusing, other tourists generally do not bother swimming in it. Many times, your family will be the only ones floating and having fun, which is great in some ways. Your kids will be free to talk as loudly as they want during the swim, but they will soon get lonely because there will be no one else new to play with. Beside the lack of pool visitors, there is also no poolside service, so you will have to bring your own food and beverages to enjoy near the pool.

A short distance from the Grand Isle Villa is a tremendous golf course. There is an amazing view of the course from the villa's balcony area; you can travel to the actual course by using the villa's golf cart. Every villa guest gets a cart to use during his or her stay, and the carts are parked near each building for everyday use. Playing a game of golf is a marvelous way to have fun in the Bahamas with kids. If you want to enjoy a day without kids, you can find some nifty grownup attractions and activities near the villas as well.

Grownups love to visit two places during their stay at the Grand Isle Villa, the casino and the Four Seasons Spa. The casino is a groovy place for nighttime fun in the Bahamas, but it is not that big in size. The spa, however, is the best place for tired, stressed out parents who need to relax. While both places are great, many people prefer the spa the most because they feel 100% refreshed when they leave.

When it comes to food, your choices are very limited if you plan to stay at the Grand Isle Villas. Many of the restaurants are worth a visit, but they mainly serve grouper in most of the dishes. The food is also a bit expensive; feeding up to four people will cost over a $100 each day. Breakfast, however, is the cheapest meal you can buy, so start saving your cash if you plan to stay at the Grand Isle Villas during our Bahamas vacation.

The Grand Isle Villa has tons of space, a handy washer/dryer, and a quiet, lonely pool area. If you want to spend a peaceful vacation with your family, visit a spa, and play golf, this villa may be right for you.

Easy access to The Bahamas is one reason for its long-standing popularity as a winter holiday destination. Only a few miles from the south Florida coast, in fact closer than Caribbean destinations, the islands can be reached quickly either by air or by sea.

The Bahama Islands temperatures rarely drop below 60 degrees F, or rise above 90 degrees F. Most of the rain fall occurs in the summer months. The sea temperature ranges from the low 80's in the summer to about 74 degrees F in the winter
