Bahamas - Compass Pass - 90% Quiet, 100% Good Food

Compass Pass is not a fantastic place for naps on the beach every day, but it is an amazing place to get terrific food. The food is this area's main attraction, and the snorkeling is not either.

The Bahamas is a beautiful place to visit during a vacation; one of the best spots to get good food and snorkeling trips is Compass Pass. The surrounding beach is a quiet area about 90% of the time, which can be an issue for people who want to relax during their entire vacation. If occasional sounds do not bother you, they will have an amazing time at Compass Pass.

There noise at Compass Pass is produced in two ways, airplanes that fly over the beach and the construction workers working. The airplanes sounds are not that bad; they generally fly by a few times a week. Planes that fly near Compass Pass are usually high in the air, so the noises that they produce will be at a great distance. The construction noise; however, is very loud, but the workers are located far from the beach area. The sounds of the waves help drown the noise; a radio playing loud music works well too. These issues are not a huge deal for most of the tourists and locals because they visit Compass Pass every year to try their amazing food.

The food at Compass Pass is delicious; however, it is also a bit expensive. People who do not have a room at Compass Pass love to stop by to have lunch and dinner, which means the food is tremendous. They love the drinks too because the staff has almost every kind of beverage that they ask for. Everyone will love the food at this resort, but everybody will not like the rooms as much due to a few issues.

Each structure at Compass Pass is located on water, and each one is painted nicely. Every building has a cozy bed, a desk, a microwave, and a mini fridge; the mini fridge will get the most use. You should stock up on bottled waters because the water in the Bahamas is not like the water in only places. Some guests do not like the taste of the water, and there is a chance that you may not like it either. Overall, staying at Compass Pass is great, but not everyone will enjoy the rooms during hot or rainy days. On hot days, guests will have a tough time getting comfortable because the huts have no windows, which keeps the rooms warm. As for the rain, the real problem only occurs during heavy thunderstorms. On a stormy day, the roof sometimes starts to leak; however, the staff will correct the problem quickly after it is reported.

The preferred activity at Compass Pass is snorkeling, and there are tons of wonderful spots try it. You will not need to buy your own equipment; the staff has free gear for everyone to use, which consists of masks and fins. Many fish can be found in the waters near Compass Pass; you should visit Coral Reef if you want to see some colorful plants instead of sea creatures.

Tourists should consider visiting Compass Pass because the area has great food and plenty of great snorkeling spots

Easy access to The Bahamas is one reason for its long-standing popularity as a winter holiday destination. Only a few miles from the south Florida coast, in fact closer than Caribbean destinations, the islands can be reached quickly either by air or by sea.

The Bahama Islands temperatures rarely drop below 60 degrees F, or rise above 90 degrees F. Most of the rain fall occurs in the summer months. The sea temperature ranges from the low 80's in the summer to about 74 degrees F in the winter
